Vintage shopping in Italy is more of an anthropological study. To get the best deals and the best collections you have to analyze the city’s history and lifestyle from the past. “Where people had parties” “Where people were fashion oriented etc. Of course you can get all the designers in Milan vinage shops but here the shops have real high prices due to the fact that the shop itself does research on other cities and gathers the best pieces in one place. On my latest vinage hunt trip I went to Como, famous because of the lifestyle in the 70s-80s but none the less famous for the lifestyle nowadays. There are just 2 vinage shops in Como both managed from the same lady. They are called “Mercatino della Moda” to be found in Via Benzi 13. There I found these beautiful pair of Fendi sunglasses fully paired with their original box. More vintage shopping from Como in the next posts.
