During Milan Fashion Week I had the chance to work with the organizers of the Byblos Fashion Show presenting the Spring Summer 2012 collection. Next a post will be written with all the things that I learned during this experience. Here lets concentrate on some amazing pieces shown on the runway show.
I will admit that Byblos has never been on my wish list, given that the fashion house has been changing designers every few years, everyone with his own imprinting and idea. But none of these ideas has given us a statement collection. The current creative director Manuel Facchini is trying hard to get Byblos back on track.
I have always been more curious to see the archives when Gianni Versace was designing for Byblos back in 1977. But this collection for Spring Summer 2012 suprised everyone with some high quality materials used to give us a futuristic woman with wearable pieces. Lets admit it, as you'll se from the pictures I couldn't stop photographing those shoes.
Ready for the show? Not really.
Ready for work with the black uniform of fashion industry workers.

BYBLOS SPRING SUMMER 2012
Milan Fashion Week
The Byblos Spring Summer 2012 contrasts are the main elements of the collection. For this collection the creative director of Byblos Manuel Facchini was inspired by Isabelle Blow with her iconic presence in the fashion world.
The main colors of the collection were black, white, cream, moca, and as acsents, mustard, red and grey are mostly used. My favorite pieces were the the long aerial dresses, which are a contrast to what I loved most about this collection, the structured pants and jackets which gave the futuristic look on the runway.
