John Galliano collaboration for Zara Spring Summer 2012

Rumor has it that John Galliano is designing a capsule collection for Zara to be presented in the Spring Summer 2012 in the high street fashion brand's store all over the world. I know we have never given up on this genius designer so this is a come back to win the hearts of all the John Galliano fans, which will be able to finally have access to a piece from the creations of what has come to be the most controversial designer of the past 25 years. 


Galliano hit the headlines for all of the wrong reasons in 2011 when a video emerged of him allegedly making anti-sematic remarks to atourists in a Paris bar. This kind of behaviour had him dismissed from Dior after 15 years of designing from the brand.

UPDATE 31/12/2011: It has been almost 2 days that Italian blogs, Twitter and Facebook pages have been writing and twitting about this news. For now there hasn't been any confirmation from Zara, no news on WWD. After Tom Ford collaboration with H&M (turning out to be untrue) and so many guesses on who'll substitute John Galliano at Dior, it must not surprise you that this information comes to be just the last 2011 collaboration web-based rumour?
