There are no words to describe the amazing work of Elie Saab. He knows how to make us happy and the Spring 2012 Couture collection was like a fairytale. The Lebanese designer presented delicate pieces in ivory, blue, rose and light yellow colours. There was a variety of lacework and crystal embellished gowns. We have always seen Elie Saab's designs worn by many celebrities and this year I'm sure we will see them worn by beautiful women at the Oscars, making them sparkle on the red carpet. No one can deny that he is the king of the red carpet and his designs are coveted by women all around the world. From the runway photos I noticed that a few pieces are a little bit similar to the ones from Elie Saab Fall 2012 Couture collection.
"In this collection I thought about a very modern princess, I though of the fairytales which all girls dream of in order to come up with this collection which I hope you'll like. Concerning colours, I thought of very soft colours but ones that still retained the dazzle I wanted to achieve in this collection," said the designer after the show.
