Marc Jacobs considers the making of a fragrance a design process the same way as he approaches fashion. Even for fragrances you have to make a series of choices which need an inspiration, an idea and a muse. After creating Daisy and Lola, now Marc jacobs presents his latest fragrance DOT which was inspired from his FW11/12 collection patterns. 

The new DOT Marc Jacobs fragrance is a effervescent floral scent, featuring top notes of red berries, mid notes of jasmine and base notes of driftwood. The name of the fragrance and the bottle were decided before the scent itself to create the vision that Marc Jacobs had. The scent has been created by master perfumer Annie Buzantian.

Marc Jacobs considera la realizzazione di un profumo un processo di progettazione che segue lo stesso modello di realizzare della creazione di una collezione di moda. Anche per i profumi è necessario fare una serie di scelte che hanno bisogno di una fonte di ispirazione, un'idea e una musa. Dopo aver creato Daisy e Lola, ora Marc Jacobs presenta la sua ultima fragranza DOT, la quale è stata ispirata ai pattern della collezione Autunno Inverno 2011/2012. 

Il nuovo profumo di DOT Marc Jacobs è un profumo floreale effervescente, con note di testa di bacche rossi, note di cuore di gelsomino e note di fondo con sentore di legni. Il nome della fragranza e la bottiglia sono stati decisi prima dello stesso profumo seguendo la visione e ispirazione di Marc Jacobs. Il profumo è stato creato dal maestro profumiere Annie Buzantian.
