Bye Bye One Layer Looks

It is time to go though the closet and add some winter clothes. October has been good to us in Italy so I've been wearing sandals as long as I could. I don't know if my feet are ready for closed shoes, but I have no choice, do I? Even though I'm thinking of getting on the socks+sandals trend and give it a try. Will soon share on the blog how this 'experiment' goes, in the meanwhile take inspiration from Lucia on The Fashion Politan, she is the master of socks and sandals. 

The worst thing about seasonal closet change is that the summer clothes never go back to substitute the winter clothes in the storage room at home. I keep on using light clothes under coats and cardigans, preferring the multiple layering which depending on the temperatures outside can be made of 3 to 6 layers.

 I must say this is my last 1 layer look for 2012. 

E' tempo di fare il cambio d'armadio e aggiungere alcuni abiti invernali. Ottobre è stato buono con noi in Italia, così ho indossato sandali più a lungo possibile. Non so se i miei piedi sono pronti per le scarpe chiuse, ma non ho scelta. Sto pensando pero di buttarmi sul trend calzini + sandali e fare un tentativo di prolungare l'uso di scarpe chiuse. Presto condividerò sul blog come questo va 'esperimento', nel frattempo potete prendere ispirazione da Lucia su The Fashion Politan, lei è la maestra delle calze con sandali.

La cosa peggiore del cambio armadio stagionale è che i vestiti estivi non  sostituiscono lo spazio nello stanzino a uso magazzino di casa. Anche l'inverno continuo a usare vestiti leggeri sotto cappotti e cardigan, preferendo la stratificazione multipla ( chiamasi look a cipolla) che a seconda delle temperature esterne posso arrivare da 3 a 6 strati.

Devo dire che questo è il mio ultimo look del 2012 fatto di uno strato.
