Shu Uemura Volume Maker

Since I cut my hair short I'm finding it impossible getting the same look twice. With an assymetric cut and the speed that my hair is growing 'assymetrically' I need to be creative. And recently it has come to help the latest edition to the styling range of Shu Uemura hair products, the Volume Maker.

There has been a growing trend in the “hair dusts” available, the difference that the Shu Uemura makes is that it comes in the shape of a pen with a precision brush. In this way we can control the amount of product applied and the precise location we want to apply it to. While during the presentation of the product in Milan I had it applied by the professional hair-stylist Massimo Serini, I didn't find it difficult applying it at home by myslef. 

Da quando ho tagliato i capelli corti sto avendo problemi ad avere lo stesso look due volte di fila. Con un taglio asimmetrico e la velocità la quale i miei capelli crescono in modo 'asimmetrico' ho bisogno di essere molto creativa. Di recente è venuto in mio aiuto l'ultimo prodotto della gamma per capelli di Shu Uemura, il Volume Maker.

C'è stata una tendenza crescente nelle "polveri per capelli" disponibili sul mercato. La differenza che la rende il Volume Maker di Shu Uemura il migliore è la forma di penna e la spazzola di precisione. In questo modo è possibile controllare la quantità di prodotto applicato e la posizione precisa dove vogliamo applicarlo. Durante la presentazione del prodotto a Milano il Volume Maker mi è stato applicato dal hair-stylist Massimo Serini,  ma una una volta a casa non e' stato difficile farlo da solo seguenti 4 semplici step.

Application:

• Separate the hair sections where we wish to have volume.
• Place the powder brush at the root area. Click and stroke side-to-side.
• With fingers, massage to distribute.
• (Personal addition) Blow dry it a little bit to remove any remaining powder

• Separare le ciocche alle quali vogliamo dare volume.
• Posizionare il pennello in polvere vicino alla radice. Spingere il bottone del Volume Maker e applicarlo lungo la radice.
• Con le dita, massaggiare per una migliore distribuzione.
• (Aggiunta personale) Con i phon si da un tocco finale per rimuovere la polvere residua
