I’m sharing my holidays with you for the Shu Uemura Hakoexperience. Each holiday is associated with a beauty product and I’ve chosen as my favorite the Art Of Oil collection cause I find these shampoos a perfect solution to keep the hair healthy. Especially after the holiday season where we expose out hair to sun and salty water it is important to get back the strength and shine.
Summer is over now and for sure everyone of you has had a special holiday. This year I’ve been doing holidays in between work and projects finding a week in each month where the only rule was ‘isolation’. I don’t mean going to some isolated village in the mountains, but having an internet-free vacation. That did help a lot with getting totally relaxed and ready the upcoming projects I’m working on. Now I just need to get back my beauty routine starting with the hair.
Ibiza – June 2013 I don’t think there is anyone who hasn’t been once in Ibiza and even if not for sure everyone has heard about the parties. But it might surprise you that having a dance-free and relaxing holiday is also possible. Especially I’d suggest avoiding Ibiza Town and booking a stay in the other side of the island. Enjoying the most beautiful sunset at the one and only Cafè del Mar in Sant Antoni de Portmany, having lunch at the Sunset Ashram in Cala Comte or sunbathing at the isolated beach at Cala Salada.Shu Uemura
Cleansing Oil Shampoo Anti-Oil Astringent Cleanser – I’ve picked this association because of the color of the sea you’ll find in Ibiza. The shampoo itself has an oil based formula enriched with are yuzu fruit, a citrus from Japan and glycerin complex. It is perfect for oily hair with the ingredients helping cleanse the hair in a gentle way controlling the oil glands of the scalp.
Mallorca – July 2013 This was my absolute first time in Mallorca and I didn’t know what to expect. In 1 week I had the opportunity to go to the beach but also tour the islands. With my visiting plan being one day dedicated to the beach and relax and one day dedicated to exploration, this island for sure never gets boring. I visited the famous Cuevas del Drach, the most beautiful underground caves I’ve ever seen, Cap de Formentor which is a stunning cape and had a day long boat trip to visit some isolated beaches which can be reached only from the water.
Shu Uemura Art of Hair Anti Dandruff Soothing Cleanser – The association is done with the color of the infinite number of pines and fields I’ve seen in Mallorca. The shampoo is enriched with shiso extract, an asian herb which is known for its antiseptic & anti-inflammatory properties. This oil based shampoo cleanses, detoxifies and rebalances the scalp and hair while protecting from dandruff.
Albania August 2013- Not everyone is well-acquainted with my home- country’s beautiful beaches. International tourism has been exploring it slowly only in the recent 10 years. This makes for a perfect August holiday for those who love the wild nature and unexplored beaches and don’t like to have a stressful and over-crowded holiday. Albania has been a Lonely Planet Top Destination in 2011. I might be biased but the transparent waters, the imposing mountain sceneries and the delicious food make it for a perfect holiday for those who love to explore places that haven’t been spoiled by aggressive tourism.
Shu Uemura Cleansing Oil Gentle Radiance Cleanser – The association is done with the golden sands of the Albanian beaches. This shampoo leaves the hair naturally radiant, soft and in a balanced state. This is what we need after having stressed out our hair during the summer holidays. Moreover the shampoo gives volume and moisture for healthy hair. Like all the Shu Uemura products this shampoo is also paraben and silicone free.
And to complete the hair treatment after the holidays Shu Uemura launches also the Shu Uemura Art of Hair Cleansing Oil Conditioner which has the same light formula as the shampoos range giving a radiant and smooth effect to the hair. It is perfect for frequent washing of all hair types. The formula has essential oil extracts from bergamot which keeps the oil balance for the hair and and scalp.
