My fashion week soundtrack it isn’t just about the music but takes in consideration the involvement of the fashion world into the music industry. Starting with “Freedom” by George Micheal, the video of which has the models superpowers brought together with Linda Evangelista, Christy Turlington, Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford and Tatjana Patitz. “November Rain” made us dream with the short wedding dress worn by supermodel Stephanie Seymour, who was also Axel’s girfriend at the time.
“Gucci Gucci” by Kreayshawn wh0’s lyrics Gucci Gucci, Louis Louis, Fendi Fendi, Prada I can’t get out of my head. I also included Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines” who launched the career of Emily Ratajkowski. Kanye West who has featured in his songs Miranda Kerr, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and a 22 minutes visual treat for “Runaway” featuring model Selita Ebanks . Another surprise that I’ve discovered only recently is the song “Love & Tears” by Naomi Campbell. Who knew that apart from throughing things to her assitants she could also sing. Rita Ora and M.I.A are also on the playlist because of their continuous fashion collaborations, M.I.A for Versus and Rita Ora for DKNY. Maroon 5 have been included because Adam Levine has dated every Victoria’s Secret model out there competing with Leonardo di Caprio. And no music playlist can be considered fashionable enough without the song “Vogue” by Madonna.
