Dress Daniele Calcaterra
Shoes Azzedine Alaia
Bag Giancarlo Petriglia
I see my future style, future meaning when I’m 50 and older, copying as it is Marta Marzotto‘s long floating dresses with a colorful kimono thrown over. The first thing to be done is ditching the heels and wearing Roger Vivier flats in every color. The second step would be a trip to Japan to get all the kimonos, and than a trip to India to get chunky costume jewelry. Meanwhile, I’m starting the collection of long dresses that are the most comfortable thing ever.
Daniele Calcaterra Spring Summer 2016 Collection
Daniele Calcaterra is one of the few examples of Italian designers who don’t look into their grandmother’s wardrobe for inspiration. Instead of turning his head to the certainty of the past he looks ahead at the shapes and materials of the future. Daniele manages to create a minimalistic collection, but at the same time filling every piece with lots of details. Check out his Sping Summer 2016 collection.
