New York Postcards – Downtown Manhattan

Canal Street Undergrond
Canal Street Underground // Wearing Giorgia Fiore skirt, Adidas NMD shoes, GAP Leather jacket

It is so strange that there is a different light to every city. New York works with greys and dark greens and is the perfect background for someone who loves wearing black. I had my colourful wardrobe with me but had brought a leather jacket that was perfect to dress my looks down.  My friends had had the same idea so at a certain point our group of girls was all dressed in leather jackets. I never wear a leather jacket in Milan, so for sure it was New York that had inspired all of us.

In 5 short days staying in New York for the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic, I managed to visit both Midtown and Downtown.  Everyone can tell from these postcards how two different design worlds co-exist together on the same island. I love Midtown mainly because of Central Park and the museums, but Downtown is where I like to walk for hours without a map.
