A surreal journey, dreamy, intimate, which begins in ancient Mexico and reaches our times. Andres Caballero is inspired by ancient Mexico, his birth country, for the San Andres Milano Fall Winter 2017 2018 collection. This time there was no runway show, but an art installation that included dresses and electronic music notes composed exclusively for the brand. This way the 5 senses are all put to use.
This is a winter collection dominated by floral jacquard, mohair fur insert, and a palette of colors that reminds us of faraway Mexican lands: Bluette, Mexican Pink, Mandarin Gold, Silver, Stone Grey and Deep Black.
I really love the A-line dresses, a shape that I wear often because it flatters every body shape. In this collection, the jacquard is perfect as a fall print, while the wide bell sleeves give some drama. All the collection is embellished by Swarovski crystal making it precious and shiny.
